I can’t believe the things that have been said
Remain for the purpose of remaining.
I can’t believe all the things we’ve done
And still we’ve learned nothing.
I can’t believe all the things we’ve done
And i can’t believe all the tears we’ve spent
Just to remain full of sadness.
Those same old emotions remain.
I never did the things i wanted to
Or said the things i should have done,
But there’s a part of me wouldn’t let them go,
Keeps them down, won’t let it slide.
